The GF Victoria restaurant receives the award for the Best Wine List at the 19th Canary Islands Regional Wine List Contest organized by the Designation of Origin Islas Canarias-Canary Wine<\/span><\/h4>\n

Donaire Restaurant<\/a> received the award for the Best Wine List in the Canary Islands Regional Wine<\/a> List Contest<\/strong> organized by the Management Body of the Canary Islands Protected Designation of Origin – Canary Wine. Paula Andrea Rojas, sommelier of the restaurant, together with Gustavo Hern\u00e1ndez, director of GF Victoria<\/a><\/strong>, were nominated to receive this award from Javier Gila, president of the Madrid Association of Sommeliers at the event held in Garachico.<\/span><\/p>\n

In its 19th edition, this award values the wide variety and, at the same time, the good selection of wines that the restaurant boasts. For the jury, the Donaire Restaurant menu stands out for being clean and easy to understand. \u201cIt is a very dynamic and informative both f<\/strong>or knowledgeable clients and for those who are not\u201d, said Gila.<\/span><\/p>\n

An assessment received with pleasure by Paula Andrea Rojas because “it is the recognition of the effort to offer a quality experience where we are committed to the Canarian product, both on the plate and in its pairing<\/strong>“. Gustavo Hern\u00e1ndez expressed his commitment to quality, insisting that \u201cboth at Donaire and at GF Victoria \u201cwe must follow the path of excellence, combining values such as closeness and belonging with sustainability and innovation\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

This contest aims to improve and join forces in the presentation and content of the wine lists of Canarian restaurants. An initiative that aims to make customers and consumers feel informed and allow them to learn about the best wines from the eleven Denominations of Origin.<\/span><\/p>\n

This gastronomic restaurant, located on the fourth floor of the GF Victoria hotel, is a project led by Francisco Exp\u00f3sito that stands out for its authenticity and great commitment to Canarian products<\/strong>, a tribute to traditional Canarian recipes, with a fresh and renewed look.
